OPEN PIT MINE MAPPING
HAEVIC assisted the Perth Manganese Mine in the Northern Cape with mapping of the open pit mine. HAEVIC made use of one of their long range UAV’s to fly over the entire mine. They used the data collected during the flight to create a contour map of the mine.
HAEVIC INSPECTS TRIOMF’S NEW ROOF
TRIOMF has just finished with the refurbishment of its storage warehouse at the TRIOMF Potchefstroom plant. 21 000m2 of the current warehouse were fitted with new state of the art acid resistant sheeting that were imported from Israel. HAEVIC flew over the new roof to review the progress being made.

On the 10th of August 2016, BEDNAR South Africa did a demonstration at the Rietfontein Group in Viljoenskroon. The client was looking for an implement that would minimise his tilling process. For the client's specific needs we thought it best to use the BEDNAR Mulcher MM7000.

On the 5th of August 2016, BEDNAR South Africa held a demonstration day on Francois Marx’s farm in Vredefort, Free State. BEDNAR South Africa started the day with a demonstration of the BEDNAR Swifterdisc XO4500 followed by the BEDNAR Terraland TN3000 Proffi.
ENDURING DRONES HELPS WITH FARM SECURITY
Many farmers are already using drones and robot aircraft to combat criminal activities on their farms.
Some farmers are frustrated with drones that can’t stay in the air long enough to pick-up criminal activity. A typical drone can usually maintain about 20 minutes of flying time where a robot plane can fly a longer distance.

HAEVIC INSPECTS WIND TURBINES
The Haevic team completed a demo inspection the past week at the Sere Windfarm in Koekenaap on the West Coast of South Africa. They assisted the farm in the inspection of the turbines’ steel towers on which it has been installed.
BOMA FACTORY COMPLETE
The HAEVIC team has flown the completed factory site at Boma, on the banks of the Congo river to showcase the astonishing goal the construction team has reached in completing the first-of-its-kind fertilizer manufacturing plant in the DRC. As the video showcases, the factory is now completed and ready for production.
HAEVIC PERFORMS A SITE SURVEY AT BUKANGA-LONZO
Ever expanding its own limits, Haevic recently performed a site survey for Bukanga-Lonzo in the DRC. What makes this exercise remarkable is the fact that a total of
5 000 hectares were plotted within a few hours. This is due to Haevic’s capability to use their high endurance RPAS, covering 1000 hectares within an one hour flight!

The construction of the grain storage facility is in full swing. The soil is in the process of being taken away to ensure that the base on which the grain silos will be built on, is levelled out.
The Panga is a much larger aircraft that has a load bearing capacity thus, making it better for longer range flights. It has an airtime of 3 – 7 hours and can be used for Aerial Photography, Surveillance, Medical and Military application that require more weight to be carried.
